Hi,

Should be getting a new bike in 7 days time - its an 03 ZX636 but am looking to get it alarmed. On my last bike I bought a cheap one and installed it myself but would like to go professional with this one. Any recommendations of alarms, and companies?

Also what is best datatag or alphadot?

Thanks for your help,

Jon

I'm with Terryrebel on this one, the new Datatool S4 is a brilliant piece of kit and insurance companies love it.

Datatools are a pain in the ass if you want to work on your bike. The sensors are bad when it comes to windy days.

Meta M357 gets my thumbs up, Sensors work on vertical movement and doesn't bleep every 10 seconds when touching bike.

How much are you paying for the Ninja BTW?

Had a Sys3 on my Ninja & didn't like it, found it too quiet with a bike cover on.

Paying £3000, why??

Did have a look at a tracker system but they are so expensive, not worth paying out that much money on this price bike.

Thanks

Jon

How about the offficial kwak one got one for my c6f from kwak for £165 and cost £80 to get fitted, seems to work great, think it is a reboxed spyball cobra alarm but it does the job. Thumbs Up

I've got a Solalarm 835T on my bike, alarm/immobiliser. Drains the battery if the alarm is on for any decent length of time.
I'd take it off if I could, mind you I don't need it where I live anyway.

I've just had a Meta removed off mine, it went faulty and immobilsed the bike. I'm not saying they are bad or anything just mine was.

Lee.
