So yeah, I might buy one. Seen an awesome Matt Black 2003 one M600 with 13k miles.

Just wondering if they are overly exepensive to run and maintain? I have read about cam-belts every 2 years, but that doesnt seem too bad.

If your wanting more power than your zxr400 don't bother with the 600. Go for at least the 750+ range.

Cambelts 12,000 miles or every 2 years. I find them easy enough to do, a little tricky doing the rear cylinder because of the frame work.

Aye, the Monster 600 is not as powerful as you'd think it would be.

I used to ride rings round my mates one with my early 80's 350 powervalve, much to his chagrin.

Not sure what they are like to ride mate, but they look cool as a frozen cucumber and sound awesome with some nice pipes on Cool Thumbs Up
