I would have carted the guy off for having that drone of a voice never mind for using a camera. You can't expect every Bobby to know every law inside out and back to front so that they can deal with the petty vigalanty anti police filming numpty. Yes the Police did get it wrong but don't you just get the feeling that they were goaded into it by being obviously filmed by a numpty to make a petty point. It seemed he had a well rehearsed rebuke to the police and had had the same discusion many times with different officers. Why would the average person want to tape the police, and have a camera ready, doing their basic job. A bit contrived and the young officers fell for it.
