Think I'm going for this:

Sony Bravia KDL40D3000 LCD HD Ready Digital Television, 40 Inch and RDRHXD870B DVD/HDD Digital Box

£999 with 5 year warranty from John Lewis. Free delivery (or pickup).

You can probably knock a few quid off if you shop around, but not with the warranty or ease of pickup.

The 32" gets good reviews and is well priced. I was wanting a DVD recorder, so the free DVD/HD recorder with the 40 inch model tempted me - I don't really need a TV this big. But I've just been and bought it anyway. Thumbs Up

I'll let you know if it's any good when I've had time to watch it!
