Is there anything i can put behind the baffles of my Screaming eagle slash cut on the z250 chop to make it a bit quieter?


Wire wool just spits out sparks when i rev Rolling Eyes

i used to lockwire loft insulation round my RDs baffles when it was MOT time!!not recomended for long time use!tim

Another baffle? They do baffles designed for VW beetles that would slot into many drag-pipes.

As sweet as it looks, the cops dont seem to like it, and seen as im doing the hard up student biker thing... i cant afford all this wire wool Laughing

+1 for fibreglass, used it a lot when I had 2 strokes, never had a problem.

I have a vague memory of using straw with my Micron in the '80s. Not 100% on how reliable that memory is though Laughing The material they used probably just looked like it.

We had a similar problem with our CBR engined race car in college years ago. Drill 4 holes and put a crosswire in to hold the wool in place if your on the cheap cheap!
