Sat here with a work mate and the subject of PC in the work place crops up.

We have perfectly acceptable terms in daily use.

nipples
cripple / cripple stud
flange
flaps

are just a few I've used in the last hour Very Happy

But I'm sure there must be more....

On one of our finishing lines we use Gag monitors and Sphinctor seals on two particular bits of kit. We also have the front and rear bulges. Another favourite is the terminology for the actual stuff being processed the 'Mother Liquor'. Just cos it sounds like what someone would shout on a crimewatch remake of a robbery, as in 'Hands up mother licker!!!'.

Spent an hour yesterday learning about big shafts fitting into small holes.

Flaps is a new one to me though. Laughing
