Basically he means the VFR engine has been swapped for the RVF engine and as I can't give any advice he's asking.

And it is a very lovely looking VFR Shocked

The guy says he's had the bike for 7 years and has all the MOT and receipts to prove mileage, etc,

And the bike does look in extremely tip top condition. Fairings look brand new. Very lovely indeed. I wouldn't mind riding it Wink

the rvf has the exact same engine but has larger carbs,
chances are he is just using the original carbs any way.

But I want to get it done right for you when you actually get on the bike. It has to be ready. Otherwise you will ruin it.

From what i can remember the carbs on the rvf are smaller, gives an improvement in midrange at the expense of a tiny amount of peak power.
If your not already a member head over to www.400greybike.co.uk for alot of useful info and tips.
about to spend another couple of grand on mine over winter Sad

Think he's talking about my cf-smokin joes replica from my link.
that pic was taken 6 months ago, now every piece of bodywork is real cf, a black frame is sitting in my garage for fitment.
Give me til the end of december to finish it and i'll stick up proper pics.
Brier88 gonna post some pics and details mate?

ye am planning on keepin the FZR, theres no point selling it cos no one will offer me the right money. they dont sell well, not many parts around either. so i'd rather keep it, and fix it and say well i got this when i was 17 and look at it. Thumbs Up
dunno if the missus will let me keep mine in the livin room tho lol Thumbs Up
