Hmph. Got a blown bulb in the rear lights, simple to fix?

Nope, The alarm is fitted right under the rear access panel on the ZZR and this means that I can't unscrew the bulb holder internally, so I'll need to take off the rear lens (which means rear plastics, grab rail and probably the whole givi rack) to get at it... Sad

Grr...

You should enjoy taking your quakker to bits.

It allows you to get 'more intimate'

Watching some softcore '70s porn will both get you in the mood for spanner-love.

Thumbs Up

5 min job to take the plastics off.... If the on board Kwak tool kit still had a screwdriver in it.... Evil or Very Mad

gotta do it this lunchtime. Good job it's twin bulbs at the back. Just need to track down a replacement and try to get some spark plugs. I can't find the matching type anywhere part from in odd ones and two's at halfords... Sad. Oh well, off to the bike garage for bits...

The supplied screwdriver eats the cheesr screws anyway so better off using a proper one.

Replace them both with LED's and you will never have to do it again. Thumbs Up

Make sure you replace both lamps at the same time. Its a safe bet that they about the same age and will both blow at about the same time. It would be a real ARSE if the other one blows next week and you have to disasemble the bike again.

Oh, and I have been told to tell you bulbs go in gardens, lamps go in lights by the resedent lighting designer.
