Did that many a time when I had my FZR in pieces, the worst being when I was sitting under the rear end and it rolled off and onto my head Laughing

The engine bars make perfect jack points and a quick lift at the rear and your back on track.

ye they do, i jacked it from the shock and put the stands under them as it was very effective, problem with my garage is the beetle takes too much room and the enterance slants down, and because the bars curve up it just slid, i got the jack on hte shock again and put the stands further back and it didnt happen again. Thumbs Up

But a garage allows for the use of ratchet straps and bikes dont tend to fall off them. Wink

Sold the flat and living temporarily in a house with a nice brick shed and a garage. It does make life so much easier, if not just for places to put all the grubby bits and bobs.
