I highly recommend you watch Zeitgeist. It basicaly proves Christianity is not real/based on a lie. I've always been an atheist, Alough everyone else in my family are atheist too.

Zeitgeist dosen't 'suggest' things, It states facts.

If you decide to watch Zeitgeist, Don't turn it off after a few minutes because you think it's bullshit. Watch it all then form an opinion on what you believe. (The first 4 minutes of it is just showing what it covers, It puts most people off before it's even started as they think its a pile of shite from the intro)

The more you watch, The more clear it becomes. (The actual part on religion is only 35 minutes long)

I'm not really religious but it really bores me when fanatical atheists go on some self indulgent religion bashing.

I live with a guy who pretty much wanks off over that Dawkins bloke.
It gets REALLY boring when we're watching that program and he is just laughing at people who believe what they believe. Its a really patronising attitude and he won't even consider anything else or even listen to any arguments.

I'm not claiming anything, but why do we think we know everything already? People laughed when someone said the world was round!

I hate all that rubbish stuff like alignment of the planets etc, but what if there is another type of 'ray' or something that occurs in certain circumstances and we don't know about it yet?
A few years ago people would have laughed if someone said that they felt funny after walking around natural highly radioactive substances.

The bottom line is that we will never know everything about this world, so to laugh at people who may think other stuff is a bit sad in my eyes. What a boring life we would live in if everything had to be about definite facts with no scope for unknown things.

I've just finished the god delusion, and although I agree with much of what he says, I found his tone irritating. I dont believe myself, but you believe what you like.
