De-restriction

If you are going to de-restrict a scoot do you have to put a 'sporty' on it or can you keep the stock can on it.

Never done this before... but know of people who have. As far as I know there's a usually a washer in the exhaust, remove that and sorted.

thanks alun i wasnt sure cos all the people i know who have got theres derestricted have 'sportys' and i dont really want one. cos it makes it obvious the scoot has been derestricted.

my 50 was derestricted and i kept the original exhaust on, sportys are tooo loud and shit.

yeh thats preety cool.

i heard that your more likely to get pulled if you have a sporty on a scoot.
i want it to go faster but not sound stupid. peds sound 5h!t enough as it is. so i dun wana make it sound even worse.

leave the stock can on and when you can buy a geared 125 or 400 4 stroke
