An open question:

Why the fvck do you keep releasing crap TV series padded out to over 20 episodes when you could get everything done and dusted in just an hour?

This question brought to you by series such as 24, Lost, Heroes and just about anything you've spewed up in the last 5 years.

P.S. This is a rhetorical question. I realise you do this because your viewing audience has the IQ of toe-jam and needs everything explained in minute detail.

They have produced some good series. I must admit that the wife got me into Friends, SATC, CSI Vegas and NY (not too keen on Miami) and Ugly Betty aint too bad .

But yes, the majority is shite

As if there's any money in condensing a season's worth of airtime into a one hour show? But, that's what happens when advertising dollars call the shots.

And I fucking like Heroes. Seems like the full hour passes in about ten minutes every week. We also watch Bones, CSI: LV, Smallville, House (with your very own Hugh Laurie), several survival reality shows such as Man vs. Wild and Survivorman, as well as a few documentaries a week.
