Confused

i just fitted the spare art race can on my zx6r and the foot rest fastening bolt seems too short, thus putting pressure on the down pipes when the nut is tightened, would this cause problems esl where??

With time the downpipes will crack with the stress on them, there should be no stress on the downpipes at all.

you sill want to support the can, but leaving nut of you are just stressing the bolts that hold the exhaust to the enging..
and we defently want those suckers to break,
make up a little bracket from a small peice of steel that you can bolt to the original fixing point and bolt the can to that,
have fun Very Happy
