The pickup on this is unbelievable (watch the sudden acceleration past the bike and on the straight).

Anybody know how much power i could expect from a turbo'd GSXR1100 motor ?.

It all depends on the turbo and what else you do to the engine first.

Why would you want to turbo a 600? Confused I mean, for the same money as you got the gixxer 6 and the turbo, you could have got a bigger bike and a turbo which is better suited and fast.

For exactly the same reason that people do anything to their bikes. Because it's different.
How many 600s do you pull up to at the lights and expect to be totally pissed on by? Even if your on a hayabusa (standard) I expect that that bike would give you a shock.
It's the same as people putting 900cc engines in a 600cc bike, yeah it would be cheaper and easier to just buy a 900 but for a lot of people it wouldn't be as good or as special.
And I read somewhere about that bike and its meant to wheelie in every gear, but don't quote me on that. But even still he was wheelying it through the gears up to 4th which is impressive.

900 engine into a 600 isn't more expensive normally. For instance, some of the ZX9 engines slot pretty much straight into my bike, and when I had to change the engine if it wasn't for having to piss around with insurance and 33bhp I'd have done it for sure

And wheelieing through the gears can be done with or without a turbo Razz

But yeah, making it individual is a good thing and way of doing it :0

Because you can.

Ste, you're turning into a right grump on the forum these days. Just cos you don't see a point in doing something doesn't mean it's wrong or pointless or Rolling Eyes .

One could ask why you downgeared your 6, instead of buying a bike with better acceleration.

Yes Yes!
I'm a monster for that gold stuff!
Kind of like the honey monster to sugar puff's.

Ste's just plain grumpy because he found out his not liable to grow any taller than his current height.
Wink

In saying that, if someone wants to throw all manner of turbo's on their bike, and they have the money to do so. Then it seems a fair way of spending it. unlike me who blows it on a night out and piss's it up a wall.

Its like saying why have you brought a mini moto when for te price your brought one for you might have just saved from hiring them out and not having to pay running costs.

But that would miss the point of owning your own Mini moto and generally having a mess about on it.

Hell, what was the point in me owning a scooter and running that round for a year just to get 1NCB when i could have saved and paid the extra on the NSR.
Bah but if i say that why did i buy a 2 stroke 125, hell we should all skip them and own litre classed bikes.
Save us loads of cash.

But its horse's for course's really...

I thought that as i wrote it to be honest Goose.

But hey its what i used to do in History and english, just babble about pretty much nothing based around a certain area. Not actually stating facts or points.
And it gets you good grades, and even makes you sound like you know what your going on about.

For some reason i did this on Sunday at asda, with 3 of the managers. (normally i can't be arsed to waste my breath) but they understood, listened and saw my view and came out with. Well i think we can all say i know your trying your hardest on the days your here to pull the place back in line, and where leave you to do what you thinks best.

I was very very suprised maybe i should take a paret in management (talk lots, make plans, essential change / do nothing)

Just like i've done now... Laughing

Yeah I am Rolling Eyes

I just see no point in doing something if there is a better solution, but I don't care if he puts a turbo in his gixxer 6 its his money. Razz

Down gearing cost no more than replacing them with normal chain rings but gives much better performance Smile Therefore on the Ste logic its very very good

Tell me about it Sad Rolling Eyes However I got a good deal on that bike, so its going to have to eat a lot more clutchs to annoy me. However its also taken to deciding to have a brake faliure just as I try to slow down from going flat out on the straight before a hairpin Rolling Eyes Mad

Back to the subject, Yeah does look a genuinly fast bike, and its nice to see a bit of engineering and dedication from someone that wants to acheive a little above others.

Perhaps. But blunty stating it doesn't generally make for very interesting conversation, does it? It just makes you come over as a cretin to new users (old users already know you're a cretin Razz ).
