Thats basically it.

I have had a couple of days off (the boss ok'd it last week) cos me mum was visiting, me money should have been in the bank yesterday but its not there.

Gonna go in at 9 when I start and ask about it, he will try and fob me off with a cheque which is no good to me, so I will say I aint working till I have my money.

Your thoughts?

Depends on your contract and how you have been paid previously,if its always transfer to bank then kick off and get a cheque off him today,ask for an explanation also but dead easy to start the ball rolling with a tribunal case but youll be looking for a new job,dont leave his office without the money,i always resort to violence in these situations ,after going through the normal course of action but expect a tug from old bill ,but at least your motives will be crystal and in a report for those to judge,good luck but i know where id be sleeping tonight Sad

play the family card... make him feel guilty. look boss I'm sure there is a genuine reason for my money not being in the bank. however me and the wife want to go shopping later for baby stuff, so If you can pay me cash right NOW that would be great... then we can go out and buy that pushchair the wife as had her eyes on for weeks..

no point in making ultimatums as he might play you're bluff and you could be out of a job with no pay... you will then get pissed about it, next thing you know you're tagged or worse.
