At about 7pm tonight while me and my dad were upstairs (me on comp, dad plastering in front room) some twats decided to sneak into my house and steal:

My mbike jacket Evil or Very Mad
My trendy jacket? Confused
My trainers?? Rolling Eyes
Mums Laptop
Dads works Palmtool
Dads mobile phone
My wallet (with cash, cards, license, etc) Evil or Very Mad

FUCKERS! Evil or Very Mad Who has the fucking right to do that? Evil or Very Mad Not only that, they leave muddy foot prints all over my living room carpet, cheekily steal the lock on my garage, and possibly stop me taking my motorbike training/test tomorrow because of my license? Evil or Very Mad

They should all be fucking shot. There goes my plans of buying Craigs zxr. Crying or Very sad

Shit that sucks Sad

Worth having a look down the road etc cos chances are stuff from your wallet which is no good they'll have just thrown away. Ring your bank now to stop the cards Exclamation Neutral

You won't be able to do your test without the license AFAIK, but might as well ring them in morning to see if you can do anything like cancel it so that you can do it as soon as you get a new license in the post or get your old one back.

Hope the bastards get caught, but unless they're speeding they'll never be caught Sad

That is a bit of a shitter. I remember it happening to a woman who lived a few doors up from our old house, she was in the garden weeding and general stuff like that, and whilst she was concentrating a couple of lads must have slipped into her back door, and ended up walking out the front door with the TV and VCR as well as about £300 in cash from a jar in the kitchen. Best bit about it was it was broad daylight and nobody even stopped them doing it.

That really sucks mate Crying or Very sad

Don't worry about your licence Exclamation You can do it without one afaik, call up the DVLA now and tell them what happened and they will fax through a form/licence to your test centre. You will need two forms of photographic ID preferably signed.
I did my test without my license, so don't worry mate.
Good luck with your test.

That sorta thing seems to be on the increase, its happened a couple of times in my street. Once to us, they got in and stole 2 mobiles from the kitchen while me mum was in the living room. The door's always locked now...

People these days can be right wankers.

Hope you somehow get some of it back? Or at least catch the bastards that nicked it all.

If they nicked the lock to your garage make sure they don't come back for your bike!!!!

Good luck for your test mate. Let us all know how you got on! Smile

Jeeeeepus, the cheek of some people is unbelievable!

It sounds like somebody has their Christmas presents all sorted now.
Hopefully they won't be intelligent enough to use any information stored on the laptop and palmtop Shocked

Good luck getting everything sorted, with any luck you may be able to get a free re-booking for your test with the crime number.

All seems to be going well considering.

The cop who came and took a statement was a biker, he liked upping the price of things that got knicked, so everything is over, sometimes double it's actual price on the insurance form. Laughing

He's just dropped off his bike jacket so I can do my training and test in it, he's such a nice chap! Mind you.. bikers are. Wink

Danny - got it faxed through and everthing, just need to take my passport in on test day. Very Happy

Training today went well, emergency stops fine, U-turns fine (on an NSR too heyup go cam Razz) just gotta remember a few checks. Had to change 9x3 plate back to standard one. Embarassed

They'll be a bit peeved to find an even bigger beefier lock on there now. It's massive. Mr. Green

Got in touch with both my ISP's we connected to on the laptop, asked them to monitor and note the incoming call for our usernames. So if they do happen to connect, we'll find out what area/number they're from. Razz

Good to hear it's all sorted. Very Happy That is one friendly cop Exclamation Laughing

I could never get the hang of U-turns on the NSR so I gave up and just rented a CG. Which made me realise how much I despise CGs, my back really hurts after I use them.

Some dial-up accounts only allow connections from the phoneline that you registered the account from but the isp might not have bothered to tell you that.
