Porsche 959.
Rarer than hens teeth and extremely expensive. I fell in love with that car as a kid and still think it looks better than most of the crap available today. There was one on eBay a while back up for £200,000. Proper collectors item.

i see bikes as tools, and cars as tools
depends what you want the thing for
vehicles that are wow, often arent that useful as tools, so its nice to have one wow vehicle, and another useful vehicle
for wow (to me) i think id have an old merc S320 which has double glazing for extra quietness. a luxury insulate you from the world thing.
I cant see the point of fast cars, as i cant see them ever being as fun as a bike. I think cars are good at insulating you from the journey, while bikes are good at keeping you involved, and being fun. But i've never driven a fast car, so maybe im missing the point.
as a tool, i think an oldish a6 estate might be good, thought for complete utility at the expense of any wow, a exm estate might be good
i cant see myself getting a new car ever, as to me depreciation hurts more than garage bills, and you know you are gonna get it, whereas garage bills although a nuisance, arent expected when you buy, even if they are more likely with an older car.
i know people like wow cars though
so if money was no object, i might as well have a bugatti veyron tho
as they look pretty, are fast, and meant to be fairly useable for day to day stuff if you really wanted too, and this is a pretty car thread

There was a MK1 capri that had been done like the interceptor for sale next door to Robspeeds a few months back. Looked  from a distance, didnt get close up though!
