You can't, you have to be involved in a transaction with them, fairly obviously.

Well, they could ask someone who has done business with you, under the pretense of checking a phone number/address, and they could supply them your contact details.

I happily gave the details of someone who conned me to someone else.

yeah they can get your name address phone number and number of downloads of porn you made last week.

it would be like going up to a bank andgiving them a name and them saying yes heres the account number, home address and pin.

the only people who can get your home address and phone number are.
people who you are involved in a transaction with.
police/trading standards etc (i believe they need a court order) if you are selling stolen/conterfeit goods.

you could always put in a fake registered address in your 'my ebay' and then use your real address in your 'postal address'. that way if there was a loop hole or some magic crack to get info then they would get the fake address, however this can get you suspended from ebay if found out.

simple then, set up another ebay account and win one or 2 of his auctions, (for bigger items) that way you have to collect.

then inform police that you truly believe this guy is your man and they may send an officer oround to search his place and maybe find your reg plate under his mattress

are any of the bits marked? datatags panels etc, if you do buy a bit can your really prove its from your bike. Its one thing knowing it, its something different to convince the police or a court.

The parts arent security marked but do have identifying features. I had to cut the one part in a distinctive way because my dog chewed it. and the other has a distinctive mark on it, i knew they were off my bike as soon as i opened up the auction page

Email him say you want ot buy the bits off ebay. Offer a price over what they are worth and say you will pay cash and pick up.
He may then get greedy Thumbs Up

Arrive with a few biker mates, if they are your call the police and hes done for....

Well once the police have left he is... Mr. Green
