Hi people,
I was told by one of the members from the men and motors bike talk forum that some of you people are from the sussex area, and so i thought i would drop in and let you all know of a website/chat site i am in the process of making for anyone from sussex to keep in touch for news/events informations.
Please feel free to check it out at https://pub60.ezboard.com/bsussexbikers
Cheers

Don't take it so seriously dude!

Welcome to bikechatforums. I did put a grinning smiley after my post!

Its just we've had a LOT of people trying to promote their own forums on here and I guess I for one am a bit sick of it.

Put the URL in your signature and carry on as a normal member and you'll be okay.

I apologise for any offence caused Smile

I didn't notice you trying to get help, if you did you probably would have recieved it.

Just a thought to you (and all the other people spamming their forums on our forum)... How about you start with a /usefull/ site, then if it proves populat start up a small message board related to the subject, see how that goes then expand if required. That how this place started. Most forum's that you're likely to spam are fairly close nit communities that are happy as they are.

If you've actually got a site with some content you could even try and find another forum that would be willing for you to have subforum in theirs.

If you want people to come to your forum it's probably best to find related sites /without/ forums that will link to yours.

Hello and welcome to bike chat. Smile

I was going to wack a post on your forum as I have an Ezboard account and you seem to be in rather desperate need of members, but apparently I need a special password despite being logged in on my Ezboard global account? Neutral

As G said starting from scratch like that will be hard, you could do as he suggests and get links on related sites without forums or even try canvassing Sussex bike meets with leaflets, but I'd agree than spamming other forums that you are in direct competition with is probably not a good way to proceed.

If I remember I'll put a link to your forum on my site, but I wouldn't expect many new members as no one really looks at my site (except me). Neutral Laughing

Welcome to BCF.
With only one member and asking for a contribution from members for what appears to be one post so far seems a bit....something. Damn these cold morning making me forget words!
It's always good to run ideas past people, and this is a good forum for that!
All the best with it. Smile

Oh, and people call us insane...but we prefer to be called bikers Cool
