Had a play in photshop. Excuse the poor chop, Im not great at photoshop yet.

Quite fancy the CBR as a track bike. So Ive ditched the head lights, mirrors and indicators. And chucked it on a track. Cool

I think it would look good as a track hack.

Theres a few blemishes around the shadows on the tarmac, also where ive removed the LHS mirror, my leathers are a bit shite. But Im tired and couldn't be arsed spending hours on it.

My mouse is also fucked, And is a bit Jumpy at the moment. Would LOVE one of those pads where you have a Pen.

I agree with them dude. Looks pretty good if you ask me.

I'd say go for it and get some track fairings. But don't be gay and leave them ready to paint. Paint them! Thumbs Up

Ive got a full set of FG track fairings to go on. I'm just leaving it in its sorry state for now until the insurance assessor comes and has a look. Hopefully he will write it off and make me an offer.

Not really sure whats going on with the insurance at the moment though. The rider who rode into me is now denying liability. Even though he accepted liability at the road side after the smash. So insurances are fighting it out I guess? Confused

My FG fairings are the same colour as the ones in the picture too. Also got a mint condition tank to go on. Painted up in the same blue. Will look like a brand new bike soon I hope! Very Happy

I'm still in split decisions what to do with it yet. I may well chuck my new fairings on it and tart it back up to a road going state. Get it re-MOTd and sell it on. Might even sell the Viffer and keep the CBR. Really miss riding the CBR.
Dont get me wrong, the V4 Viffer is great, But I miss the scream of the IL4 NC29, I miss the sharp cornering and the perfectly tweaked suspension. I miss the ever so slightly more roomy seating position, I miss the colour. I miss it loads.

We`ll see.

Really want a track hack.

i know how u feel, i'd be gutted if i was in the same dielema, its your pride an joy and you dont wanna let it go. i'd hate it if something happened to my FZR after going through so much work with it and all the stuff i've done to fix it.

am sure what ever you decide will be the best choice for you.

I was wondering when the hell you want on a trackday from your avatar!

Looks really good. I'm pretty sur eif you did a few more pictures and didn't say it was photoshopped and you really did go on a trackday then people wouldn't question them.

Looks good either way.
