Picked them up from the post office second time of asking Rolling Eyes and tried them on. Quite a snug fit, but its nice to know that I'm still a Euro 52, thought whilst I had them on I'd wear them on the bike to kickboxing....and thats when the jokes and comments began Laughing

I was one ahead of you there Wink

Bear in mind that I had been gone for an hour or so for a ride, rang the wife and got her to come out with the camera. The little photoshoot had to be cut short as I was in the way of a neighbours garage and they were behind me.

Despite this and being in public posing it was time for the Monkey to take centre stage...

I can't stop laughing, nothing is close to matching, it looks like you have gone to a lot of effort to clash Laughing

I think it's the purple tucked into the black boots that does it for me Thumbs Up

To be honest, I bid on a few more sedate looking leathers and lost out by a few pounds and forgot that I was the highest bidder (£40) on these. I've seen various incarnations of the green/purple Texport suits and and always thought they look good in a strange sort of way and when you have a green bike, bar black, not a lot matches Laughing

The thing is that I dont actually need leathers Laughing

I have a nice textile jacket and cordura trousers for every day wear, these would mean that at least I could attend a race track and finally do do a trackday or act as some brave pills for getting the knee down Praying

Leathers (and for that matter textiles) on the Monkey Tut Tut I'll stick to Jeans and a jacket for now.

Like a chameleon that's having a fit. The green looks a close match just don't paint the bike to match, not even the gorgeous zx7r could carry that off....could it? Wink

BTW, may have missed the update, but, the bike running ok now?

Kids do say the funniest of things Laughing

Bike has been fine until today that I noticed that it doesn't like starting with the lights on. Turn them off and it seems to start better. Not from a battery point of view, but maybe a switch gear point of view.

The mechanic said that the starter button was a little positional, so maybe with the lights on, its moved the contact plate a little?

Love riding it though Thumbs Up

Depends how your light switch is set up really doesn't it?

If it's an on/off switch on the left hand box it won't affect it but if it's on the right hand side it will.

Sounds likely though Thumbs Up

And dude, seriously. Gayest leathers. Ever

I refuse, point blank, to meet with you and for you to be wearing them Razz
