Just picked up my GasGas. Its absolutely mental Shocked . I thought I'd take it round the block (new toy and all that), but I don't think it likes me. It keeps trying to spit me off, the front wheel seems to have a superiority complex and wants to the highest point at all times. The back wheel wants to spin up all the time, so its kind of interesting Cool. I guess i'm gonna be taking it easy and treating it with a bucket load of respect for a bit Smile
Wish me luck
Thumbs Up

Come down to Brighton on Sunday and you have a go. Its a bit agricultural, so different from a road bike. Insurance is only 134 quid fully comp Thumbs Up

Hehe Thumbs Up. If you take it easy, it should still be easy enough to ride.
Could always fit a longer travel throttle, but then where's the fun in that Smile.

Exactly, its down to me to try and tame the beast Smile . I had a stroker about 20 years ago and I'd forgotten what the power delivery is like, and that was an NS400R with much longer gearing.....

I've got a Gas Gas Pampera, and I've been spending my leisure time ( got quite a lot at the moment) trying to get it through the MOT. I've just finished fitting the new speedo, and replacing the clutch fluid. All I've got to do now is fit a banjo bolt brake light switch.

Who knows how it passed an MOT before...

Anyway I've been pratting about on it and its an absolute gas! (sic).

(Forgive the pun!).

I'd love to see what it was like with road wheels, I'd probably never need to use first gear! Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Jamie, its the crosser.

Marjay, I've been thinking the same thing. Apparently wheels and tyres (pilots) are available direct from GasGas. Could be interesting (if a little pricey at about $1700), as I do quite fancy the Supermoto option....

$1700 is only about £850 with the exchange rate as it, still alot of money Shocked though but your almost making it into two bikes for the price of one Wink does that include wheels, discs/sprockets and tyres?
