I been caught twice without l plates, they let me off, just say that you were on your way to get them when they pulled you over, just say that the other bike shop didn't have them but you had to go to college / work or summit and they'll prob let you off the l plates stuff, and I was speeding when they pulled me over and I got away with that, yes speeding on a ped i thank you Smile. The police in fleet are the worse, they sit in the same place and just pull over averyone and everything that looks like they might be doing something wrong, I prefer moving targets. In a way i might not have minded being done for speeding, at least then i would have had official documentation saying how fast it went Razz.

Where you been stopped in fleet? Never had any trouble with cops there, seen a traffic car on the high street a couple of time and thats about it. The fleet road (Fleet to Hartley Wintney) is a great road for when you get a bigger bike. As is the road from Fleet to Yately Very Happy

I've done both of those on my ped, I can imagine that they would be great fun on a decunt bike, can't think of any other decunt rides, one of my favourites is a really short road over in aldershot, there's some great army roads around the test centre in aldershot, well I like them any way.

It's a pain in the arse watching idiots go flying past riding in a line, gsxrs, blade's, ninja's, everything decunt does that road to hartley, I got pulled over just before the junction of kings road and the high street, never had a problem with squadies in aldershot (I keep away from the pikey town centre). In fact the only place i have had problems with was riding through a pikey estate, i was going along like 15 mph cos of speed humps and cars and that, some little kid tryed to push me off my ped, i stuck foot out, little kid's voice went even more high pitched (big up to people who made my helmet slightly more sound proof then most helmets i've tryed).

Kings road. That'll be why. I take it you've been down it? Dead straight 30mph limit road with houses on both sides. Quite wide. Popular with morons to go fucking fast on it.

So you're one of the peds I overtake on the fleet road then? Wink Razz

no mate, i not been down kings road for ages, i can honesty say that i've only been in fleet once since july (when i took my last gcse), it was the only petrol station i could find open at 10 at night, there's about 5 peds that live on kings road thought so it seems reasonable that you would see them a fair bit, kings road is boring, i cannae stand straight roads (the last time i went down kings some cunt cut me up when i was seeing how fast i could get it, 50, (after the mild down hill)so i had to overtake the women)

Its not like that anymore. Its is a purely automatic thing that uses your post length, spelling, grammar and punctuation to determine karma.

No wonder I failed english, essays were always too short, I could never be bothered to run spell checker, i just wanted to get the things out the way and get the teachers off my back, my spelling has always beeing preety awefull and generally i failed everything except i.t (pretty much the only thing i'm any good at).

I was just demonstrating how the spell checker is very useful, I mean if I had used it for that post it would have picked that up Smile Rolling Eyes

If I were you I'd put some L plates on sharpish, you can be done 3 points for not displaying one at the rear and 3 points for not displaying one at the front, the last thing you want is >6 points on a provisional license (ideally you'd have 0..) as it pushes your insurance premiums right up.

If you don't like L-plates, if they "look gay", then do your test Very Happy
