Don't know if you remember my last thread on this topic, so ill explain myself again.

I'm currently doing my final year project in Design and Innovation at Strathclyde University and have decided to re-design current neck braces to suit the everyday biker.

I would be most grateful if you could fill out the short questionaire by clicking the link below. I will post up any findings and interesting comments for descussion.

And please, no nasty remarks. Its just a survey, not somewhere to vent your hate.

Many thanks.

Is this for your dissertation or something? , if it is it is a tad inadequate for such a purpose.

I agree with Itchy, maybe some questions regarding type of protection used?, Would you wear a brace?, why?, number of accidents? type of injuries? blah, blah, blah.

I can't see the relevance of the questions?

Mate if i was you id draw up a PROPER questionnairre.

The questions all prompt you to go... oooooooh i suppose that ones the least wrong.

'I ride fast all the time (50-200)'

What the dickens is the 50-200 about? kph/mph? In a 30 limit/motorway/NSL

See what i mean. Have a rethink and fire out some proper copies.
In fact you can write a survey in excel, post it on here as a download file and just ask people to put an X in the cell adjacent the option best fitting them. But put some more thought into it or it means nothing.

Oh and also for surveys data is improved with the 1-5 format, eg;

I ALWAYS ride in full gear (ie Helmet, m/c gloves, m/c boots, m/c jacket and trousers that zip together/one piece)
1-5 (strongly agree - Strongly disagree)

to answer some questions.

no, you don't need to sign up to do the survey. im cheap and went for the free version, so the sign up screen is just advertising for them.

Thanks for the concern about my questionaire skills, but i'm asking the questions i cannot find the answers to from better sources.

no, this isnt the same one as last month

the details do not need to be specific to the mph, just rough. my course is design, not data analysis.

im in the James Wier building

Thanks for all your input. as always its much appreciated.
