Sat on my tod in front of my computer today at 2pm with this beautiful weather I thought I'd make the most of it and go for a spin up to Llyn Cowlyd. Not much to report other than the views are stunning, and the road to the top is seriously steep! I stayed up there for an hour or so just taking it all in and then headed home and got annoyed at the stupid roadworks on the A55. Relieved a few hours though Thumbs Up

Thought my bike looked pretty good from this angle.

Rubbish merge of the view.

Looks beautiful up there!

I would love something like that in the south east, but there is none that I can think of. Everywhere here is packed with people/cars. No where to go to get away from it all like that.

Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Excellent shots, and I hear you regarding the roadworks on the A55 (assuming you're talking of the ones around Llanfairfechan — returning from a visit to my dad's on Anglesey, I filtered for a solid 20-25 minutes in tailbacks because of those)

Also: hello fellow '97N Divvy owner Very Happy

Dan - I thought you had a VFR400 or something? I'll definitely show you all the views when you get a bike, they're all by some sweet twisty roads aswell so that's a bonus Thumbs Up

Tokarev - I hear you loud and clear! I used to live in Newport in South Wales and although it was pretty close to the valleys it's nothing like it is up here in North Wales. This view is about 25 minutes away from where I live and about 10/15 minutes away from where I used to live a few months ago. I love that I can just nip out for an hour and be able to go to places like this, it's good for thinking and sorting your head out Smile

Nynfortoo - Yep, the ones by Llanfairfechan! I live in Llanfairfechan actually so it's a pain that they've closed the first roundabout to get into the village as it's an extra 3 miles onto every journey with having to go to the next junction Sad Do you have a red divvy with a fairing by any chance? Was that you I passed just out of Penmaenmawr tunnel on the A55 the other day thinking to myself how cool it was to have a mini divvy posse cruising the A55?! Embarassed Small world if it was!

Thanks for the compliments on the pictures aswell peoples Very Happy Thumbs Up I'm no photographer, I just use my girlfriends Canon EOS30D with whatever lense she left on it when I go out!

Nah, I have a black naked one, and I haven't been up that way since the 21st Smile I'll keep an eye out next time I'm around there, though, and give you a massive nod.
