They call tazers 'non-lethal' weapons but do a Google search on tazer deaths.

Seems they're a lot more deadly than we're led to be believed. Sad

There are also times when a tazor really isnt the most appropriate choice of weapon.

It's not as if the guy was just sitting down to lunch when the cops tazed him. He was causing a problem, which the police obviously felt would be best delt with by tazering the man. And I doubt they meant to shoot him in the eye.
