Hello,

I am in need of yet more bike advice. After my 2007 FZ6 has been declared as a write off i am now in need of a new bike. I was looking at an Sv 650 but have went off the idea.
What the situation stands at is that becuase i paid the insurance renewal in full on the 1st of september and within 22 days i wrote the bike off. I cannot get any of the money back but i can get insured for any bike up to the renewal price and anything over i just pay the extra.
So i have tried to get a quote for a Honda CBR 500 F5 which they refused to insure and got a quote for a Ninja 636 which they also refused.

A bike i have always wanted and i CAN get insured for it is the Suzuki GSXR 600 K4.

Could anyone give me some information on this bike,

I.e running costs, Tyres, Miles per full tank etc

Its strange i can get insured for the GSXR and many other 1000cc sportsbikes, but yet they wont insured me for the CBR 600 F 5 or the 636 ninja.

Thanks

Lies, I get about 80 but I don't ride like a granny.

I have seen as good as 120 miles to a tank.

I ride a k5 GSXR 600 same bike different year.

Running costs depend on how you much you wanna spend on it. Same with tyres.

Here is my bike and I think you might just be interested.

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=130533

If you need any more info then send me a "pm" and I'll get back to you. I am in the Glasgow area and could arrange a meet of half way or something if you need the bike soon. Looking to get rid of the bike asap as I'm moving to Australia.
