im guessing the choke is used with ur thumb while kick starting it on cold mornings etc.. but should it not spring back automatically when u let go of it? because if this is so maybe ur spring has 'popped out'? ____________________ ??? - JoHnNy - ???

ah rights, im not sure then its a switch choke? i thought it was a little lever which u actually had to hold over while starting, then when engine starts u let go and it moves back. most scrambler type bikes are like that, weird one. na shouldnt be anything that puts it on internally like. ____________________ ??? - JoHnNy - ???

the air presure shouldnt make a difference to the choke switch because the switch would just pull the cable that basically 'pumps' fuel (and oil if its a 2t) around the engine. any air pressure would be in the cylinder or crankshaft. its a bit bizzare really lol. its probably something really stupid causing it to happen. u try takin it apart and checking everything looks 'normal' lol? ____________________ ??? - JoHnNy - ???
