Just need an idea of what i'm going to need, good routes to take, and how much its all going to cost.

i'm thinking of doing this next summer, so i've got time to plan and prep.

i've got a Kawak EX500d.

i'm a student too, so i'm on a tight budget, as cheap as possible.

I went to Scouts in my younger years so i dont mind ruffing it a bit.

i've never done anything like this before, but i sometimes take my CG out atm, go for a good 200 miles in a single evening, desperate for more.

Cheers

Cheers mate

was planning something like this.

in a clockwise direction, starting from harwich, and the first evening in Amsterdam (Wink), heading for Portugal at around the 17th, for the rally so it would be 1/2 way point, then a hangover cure of riding the south of france.

good idea?

in a month? Thats a sh*t load of riding. Be careful you don't spend all your time riding and when you get back not be able to actually recall many of the places you went to as you rode through then not stopping.

Thats my post on the trip i did if there were any other road numbers they would be in there.

I said scrap madrid but the roads north between Madrid/Pamplona are also very good, Madrid its'self was too much like London for my liking but you may find different... Also if you make it to Valencia dont do it around rush hour... Worst traffic i have experienced. The roads leading to Montpellier from say Lyon are very good too if you find the little twistie (BiS - Yellow sign looks like an AA sign) roads...

Do you know where Portugal is? Not going anywhere near on your map...

The Faro rally isn't really local enough to the South of France to be considered a hangover cure either, unless you're going on a multi-day riding bender Wink
