You might not know this if your hornet came with aftermarket exhausts but i've always wondered how comfortable it is for a pillion on a standard hornet with those exhausts seemingly so close to them.

I envision pillions burning their legs getting on and off, or is this just not the case?

Its the 01 model but i dont think there is any real difference.

yeah the hornets are easy to change bits about on for example changing the rear lights makes the bike look so much better great bike.

the exhaust didnt seem to bother the one person iv had on it and to be fair no-one is allowed on back now because the cowling is well fixed on after it came off mid acceleration, which wasnt cool, so thats it for that lol.

and i do agree that the red things on the heel plates are absolutely rubbish, hopefully to be rectified after christmas when i can afford some Hornet Cup Rearsets for it, give me a bit more on corners aswell and again theres no passenger pegs on those : )

I think the single headlight looks much better than the twin ones on a Hornet. Looks very good with the single seat and bellypan.

im not sure about the twin headlights ill probably just stick with the single maybe get a little bubble screen on top aswell bang on some usd's and jobs a good 'un i reckon couple of little bits to sort out like the red bits and im flying, well when they let me take the restrictor out haha

Where did you get the bellypan from? I had one on mine but it was crap and only covered the front of the down pipes a tiny bit.

With regards to the exhaust and heat, as Dom said, the standard can has a heat shield on it. My Scorpion can doesnt but it doesnt get that hot anyway and I venever had complaints from pillions.
