Some new pictures I took today of my 1956 Ariel colt. The gear leaver was off at the time and the front brake cable needed connecting aswell.
Thumbs Up

Edit: Found out the bike has a 1949 front tyre on it!

There on my list of things to buy , and being 14 with no job means I might have to wait a while.

The only part I lost when I restored her was the split link , so I borrowed one off my off road buggy , but I sold the buggy a few weeks ago so had to take the split link back off , bought a new one on saturday though Very Happy

Looks fantastic...

you have no idea how envious I am.. not only of you having the bike, but for having the patience to do what you've done with it.

I've got my eyes open for a BSA M20, but I just don't have the cash right now.

one day! Smile

There is something about an old style bike, some being more fanciable than others, obviously the price is reflected in this Rolling Eyes but even so wouldn't mind a basket case and start from the ground up if they were cheap enough.

Refit the front number plate, it looks bare without it!! My T100SS had one and it was legal at the time, how does the law stand on this point at the moment, anybody know?-Jockey.

Hi, I have the front numberplate here ready to fit.
They are allowed if the bike had one fitted as standard.

It should be easy to tell us apart. I'm an old git from the Black Country - he's a young whippersnapper from Wigan Cool

As long as he takes the crap that goes with being me, he's more than welcome to it Very Happy Besides, I've had a good thirty years head start on young Ben. Wink
