IT'S COMING HOME, ITS COMING HOME,
IT'S COMING, FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME!!
IT'S COMING HOME, ITS COMING HOME,
IT'S COMING, FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME!!

TEARS FOR HEROES DRESSED IN GREY,
NO PLANS FOR FINAL DAY, STAY IN BED, DRIFT AWAY,
IT COULD HAVE BEEN ALL SONGS IN THE STREET,
IT WAS NEARLY COMPLETE, IT WAS NEARLY SO SWEET,
AND NOW I'M SINGING........
3 LIONS ON THE SHIRTS, JULES RIMET STILL GLEAMING,
NO MORE YEARS OF HURT, NO MORE NEED FOR DREAMING.

TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL COMING HOME,
AND THEN ONE NIGHT IN ROME,
WE WERE STRONG, WE HAD GROWN,
AND NOW I SEE ITS READY FOR WAR,
BECKHAM CROSSES BEFORE, CAMPBELL CERTAIN TO SCORE,
AND WE'RE ALL SCREAMING!!!!!!
3 LIONS ON THE SHIRTS, JULES RIMET STILL GLEAMING,
NO MORE YEARS OF HURT, NO MORE NEED FOR DREAMING.

IT'S COMING HOME, ITS COMING HOME,
IT'S COMING, FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME!!
IT'S COMING HOME, ITS COMING HOME,
IT'S COMING, FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME!!
IT'S COMING HOME, 3 LIONS ON THE SHIRTS,

What is the fascination with football? 20 people running around a field with two people bored at each end and one running in diaganols across the pitch. Hmm, sounds like fun.
and then i remember the money. so these footballers are getting paid shite loads to run around and people like you (not pointing at anyone in particular) are actually buying all the stuff to make yourselfs look like them (only without the money!) but in doing so you're actually paying them even more!

Save your money for the things that are needed, like a bike, more power, insurance and a good lid to go with it all.

I have to agree with Milo- football doesn't interest me at all. I just can't see what's good about it.

But I have got a bit of national pride and I'd like to see England do well. Won't be watching any games though- give me the Moto GP anyday.

fair enough

league football leaves a lot to be desired, and nothing annoys me more than people who bum on about some obscure italian team that they watched once

but you gotta support your country in the world and euro cups

fly the flag high from the rear of my moped :D

What do you mean??? It's a good sport, its exciting and is a mint laugh to watch and play. Get a grip that some people actually do support their country....the same could be argued about bike racing you know.....whats the point in it......wheres the excitement??? A bunch of blokes on a machine that basically steers itself round the track for god know how many laps, wow how much fun to watch. (that is not my point of view cos I love bike racing, its just what some people who arent into bikes might argue) So don't go saying stuff like whats the point and they get paid way too much and stuff cos they get paid a lot I know but thats cos they are in demand so the clubs have to pay market price to keep them. Oh and why do bikers go around buying race rep lids and stuff making them look like some racer that they ain't ever gonna be??? I think I have made my point.....

yeah I've got a rossi rep lid, which is why I made no comment on people buying football shirts. Being a fan though you must be pissed off with the amount of times they release new ones- just to take advantage of devoted fans?

I ain't a big league football fan, but I like to support my country and I like football so there ya go. I also like the atmosphere, I don't think you can beat it. Being down the pub with a few mates with a few pints and a packet of peanuts, all watching on, the tension mounting, and when it all goes to plan and we win its awesome.

I know merchandise is expensive, but lets face it if nobody bought it then they would lower the price. Seeing as the price remains the same tells me that people are buying it.....

fools, RSA did qualify and there doing better then england at the mo (compared to wats expected Smile )
They drew as well, but they made a more interesting game against Paraguay : 2-2

At the mo RSA stand about as much chance of making it to the next round
as england!

Sorry, couldn't stand by and let some1 mock South Africa Wink
