...to see Roadkill...

What is it with this week out on the roads? maybe it's just the route I take to work now that I'm out on the country roads again but I'm sure there's more splatted animals out there this week.

Seen a few dead foxes, watched a pidgeon bounce off a car and yesterday I ran over the remains of a Badger just at the entry point of a corner.

it's getting darker, earlier, so far more taffic are on the raods at night.
Badgers, foxes and the like are nocturnal, so they are often taken out at this time of year until they remember what traffic looks like.

I was gonna reply with a "IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS YET!" answer but this threat actually does require a normal answer not a rant....

Yeah I saw 2 dead rats on the way in to work today, think they might have been on the job when they got splatted.... Made me laugh anyway.... Smile

I've noticed more roadkill as well. There might be some remains in the wheel arch Sick

On the Christmas thing, the Christmas lights get turned on in Leeds tonight. Sure it's getting earlier. Eventually they'll just leave them up all year Hand

Any of you ever drove on Pedestrian Zones and noticed pigeons on the ground do not fly away from vehicles anymore?

They run away at the last possible minute giving passers by a shock.
