Walking home from work last night, I look up and a house down the road from me has put up a silly amount of christmas decorations all over the outside of their house!

It's the 9th of November today, there's still over 6 weeks until christmas, I wanted to knock on and check they hadn't accidentally turned their calendar one page too far, I didn't, because I like not being bruised.

WHY!?!

Stupidity.

However I am extremely proud of myself as I did all of my christmas shopping for this year back on Tuesday. Went to the Bullring, nice and quiet, no last minute rushing.

All the presents are wrapped up and ready to go.

Gonna be a nice relaxing Christmas I think.

Christmas tree doesn;t really need to go up until at least mid way through December.

It should be law that anything even remotely associate with Christmas cant start until December the 1St at the absolute earliest.

It a joke to be honest, the local garden center opened their xmas department up at the start of august.

Bah humbug and all that.

Well looky here, we have us a genuine chav who put up their christmas lights a mere 7 weeks ago.

Listen twat, just because I think it's fucking ridiculous that people put up their decorations WAY before the event doesn't mean I hate the event entirely (but I do). You don't start celebrating your birthday 7 weeks before or any other event for that matter. These people clearly have no jobs and a very boring life, the only excitement comes from christmas where they get to have a punch up with their whole family, having no job means they get bord and so when christmas is a mere 15 weeks away, well, it's time to put up the decorations in anticipation of the big fight.

I'm with Shaun on this one - you can also bet your bottom dollar that the people with the most fairy lights, giving the biggest presents and throwing the most lavish parties are the ones who don't believe in God/Jesus/3 Wise Men.

All seems a bit weird to me - just as all the fake cheer does, with oddballs you barely know gushing "Season's greetings" at the drop of a hat.
