yet again, in the same part of the country a minibus full of foreign workers has been involved in a fatal accident
https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/7092196.stm

i was talking to a traffic copper in skegness a couple of years back who said the rate of fatal road accidents has risen sharply and he could attibute 99% of them as being down to the growing number of immigrant workers using the roads in lincolnshire and their apalling driving standards

Quick question: Do all the Polish/Lithuanian/etc registered vehicles have to have some form of yearly MOT? Or do they escape this as long as they are checked in their country of registration?

Question

Well when I used to commute into Mancs for a period of 15 months I'd see this foreign white plated car every day ,

it had some seriously bald tyres ,and its rear wheels were wobbly, it must not have been MOT'd as the tyres would have failed it

In our local paper every week its just immigrants that get done for traffic offenses and car crashes. No locals show anymore. They get off lighter though i noticed.

its a touchy subject here since the biker and the driver area dead but she was a Lithuanian and did pull out of a central reservation without looking. Was very sad as his wife was expecting a child.

Was out doing my 2nd day of my DAS today, and came to a cross roads with traffic lights. Polish HGV driver carried on through a red and amber and then once the entire lorry was through the lights, he stopped....Right in the junction Shocked Rolling Eyes

Absolute mayhem followed until three light changes later he realised it'd probably be a good idea to move Rolling Eyes Shocked
