thanks to a friend of mine who is an ex bike thief i've been informed about my bike.

he's spoken to a few people and he's found out who has my bike, BUT

it's dead and buried Sad

it's been taken by a guy who races them and all the parts will get sold through race meetings and word of mouth.

this guy lives in the Nottingham area, and my mate is going to get me his adress if he can.

what do I do now though? i'll inform the police but there's fuck all they can do now except pay hiom a visit, search the house.

Go and knock the cunt out at the very least or if your truely sick cut his pecker off (if you have 100% proof), if he gets caught by the plod in all reality he probably wont get much time inside if atall.
People who steal need to die, or get their hands cut off so that they cant pinch other peoples stuff that they've worked damn hard for. Evil or Very Mad

man that sucks dick!!! what a confusing position to be in.
Could you try and find out where he gonna be selling some bits and see if you can arrange with the coppa's to be there or something? I would try and do it legally if they are a bunch of nasty fuckers. You could end up in a world of shit.

report it to the police..and chase it up again and again (3 times a week or something) until something gets done. stress that he's selling the parts off and you want them to act know whilst he still has distinguishable parts on his premises.

If you've got his name, find out what club he races with as you could be able to do something from that approach. Chances are the club and most of the rest of the paddock won't be too happy about it.

I doubt he'll be daft enough to have the parts at his address.

if he does it as a regular thing, and it sounds like he does, then perhaps not. but if the police can get some proof, surveillance if lots of bikes, after all you do have an inside witness, with their statement on your side you might be able to get a good solid case against him.

Funny how alot of stolen bikes end up in Nottingham Thumbs Down

Think you may just have to wave bye bye to it Glynn, my first bike got nicked after 2 weeks, watched it being sold bit by bit on ebay, after tracing the guys address and phone number, managed to get another bike forum member to phone and the lovely chap said he could sell him any 'recognisable' bits, but without the log book.

Duly rang police and informed them of developments, and was told I would need conclusive proof that the bike was mine Rolling Eyes before they would do anything at all.

I did have an army of young motorcycling forum members full of bravado and buff offering to go break his arms, legs, etc etc etc.

In the end nothing happened, thats a big fat ZERO.

Just hope you weren't as naive as myself and had at least 3rd party fire and THEFT.

I'm not bitter, not at all, but I dread the day when I actually see another bitingly beautiful RS ride past, I may just end up falling to the floor and drowning in a pool of tears and snot.

Cheers Shellshock, thankfully this is my first big bike so I decided to go Fully comp on insurance in case I crashed it and lost 8k.

On that idea, if there were multiple people were calling Crimestoppers and informing them about this guy then I'd expect something is more likely to happen promptly than it they only get one phone call?

one of the bike breakers i went to is on the nottingham derby border (eastwood), he races R1's and fireblades. If it is him I think a group bcf effort is needed.

Does anyone have a decent recipe for bike thief?
I fancy his testicles lightly grilled with coriander.

See above post by myself ie: 'bravado and buff'.

If your actually willing to help Glynn, then do so.

If not, shut the fuck up, your not helping anyone.
