Just got an email through, nearing the end of my working day

What a splendid set of results was presented to us last Friday! What challenging times we have ahead of us!
****** and I invite you to join us each Thursday morning from 7:30 to 8:00 in the downstairs meeting room to pray for the company. We have been doing this weekly for the past 7 years.

It could be that some of our success is because we have prayed for projects and for manufacturing. Whenever we hear of someone sick or having difficulty, they get prayed for, and we also work our way through the internal telephone list, a few names each week, so that each one gets a mention several times a year. If you are a Christian or think there might be something in this prayer business, then please feel free to join us. If you have a need, let us know and we will do our stuff.

We have a 'faith room' in our office, don't think anyone uses it. I often think about going there for a wee nap just after lunch...

Oh aye, I just hope its a multi-denominational ecumenical prayer meeting, they'll get shut down otherwise...

Personally if the guy who sent the e-mail owns the company I'd politely decline. If however you work for a Ltd company and this guy has nothing to do with the ownership/directorship of the company, I'd report the deluded twat for shoving it down your throat.

Seems fair enough to me, its an invite if your interested. If you don't respond and they leave you alone, no harm done. If on the other hand they start to hassel you into going, then thats grounds to make an issue of it.
