My renewal for the Pan came through from Bennett's at £166 fully comp.

I looked around and found a company recommended on here (can't remember which) which came to £146 and also covered my 125cc Kymco.

When I rang Bennett's to say I wasn't renewing they came up with a price of £142 for both bikes through Norwich Union inc. legal cover. £24 cheaper than I would have been charged for just the one bike!

Being mercenary I took their offer Smile

This may have been mentonioned before, but for some reason it was about £400 cheaper to add my girlfriend as a named driver, even though she had only just passed her test..!?

Could be becuase i`m assumed more responsible by being a family man...ha!

Same with me,
I'm with Bennetts as well and it knocked 20 quid off adding the scooter to my policy Smile

And now you tell Phanny! If only he'd known all he had to do to reduce his ridiculous quotes was to buy a wee little 50cc scooter... Laughing

well all he needed to do was slap on a 125 sticker on his R6 and say that he had a 125cc scoot instead? I'm sure if the guy on bennetts was dumb enough to make false quotes, then i'm sure that he'll believe the R6 is actually a nice Learner legal scoot. Rolling Eyes

not read the post properly, but im 19, insured on a Thundercat 600 for £220 tpft with 3 years no claims.

i then insured a DT125 for a further £45 for 12 month, I then changed the Dt to a CCM 604 moto...... it cost me nothing, bar from a small admin charge.

i could of got the first quote lower, but i got bored and tired of shopping around so i coughed up.

Steve.

The girl at Bennetts was quite helpful.

Their quote came back at £185 and she then then knocked £40+ off to better the quote I had.

im not too sure about bennetts - i had to change a few details on my policy - provisional to full licence etc and the woman i was speaking to gave me a load of crap about how this might increase the price of my policy. She said now i have my full licence i can ride on my own without anyone behind me on a radio...

just shows you dont need to know anything about bikes to work for a bike insurer
