Just bought a cbr600f (1999) the other day it came with two keys and no number plate for getting a new key coded so i asked the bloke about it and he said he didnt remember getting one but he went off and had a look and came back with a small metal tag saying he doesnt think it is for it but could well be Confused

So could anyone that has one send me a picture of it or describe how big it is and how many digits it has ect it would really help Smile

Thank's Sam

Sounds like the correct tag hiss system is anoying if you need new keys not a case of getting them cut the have to be programed in and an absolute nightmare to do Rolling Eyes .

A Honda dealer *should* be able to sort out the code. However, if you lose both keys, then it is a new barrell and ECU (about £800 worth Shocked )
