This might sound really, really stupid, But I donated money when I seen a real life scenario which included young children fending for themselves etc. If this was not advertised then I would not have donated.

problem is most charity money gets used before it reaches its intended destination , Alex's mate down London used to work for a charity got her face in the papers,
