Checking feedback before I shelled out for something just now as the guy had got 15 negatives in the last month. Out of the 15, 10 were from people who had written stuff along the lines of 'superb goods, very quick, pleasure to deal with' and then had marked the feedback as negative!!!
I honestly believe that most of the general population should not be allowed to get out of bed unless supervised.....

Souns like he's tried to build-up his feedback score but has found someone more stupid than himself to help do it.

Or, I wonder if ebay did something to 'trick' the people that use automated scripts to do that.

I've seen some people get bad feedback for some really stupid stuff. i.e. CD case had sellotape damage. I mean, come on! Get a life. 2 minutes with a damp cloth and it's sorted!

Also, people whinging about the postage for an item. You saw how much the postage was when you placed the bid, then whinge about how much it cost?! So, what if the postage cost £5 more than what the guy actually paid at the post office? For all they know, the seller could have had to pay that in petrol and parking costs to get to the post office!

You think that's bad. When my Dad had an ebay shop, people used to threaten to leave bad feedback because they thought the item wasn't worth the money.

Duh! It's an AUCTION. You can't blame the seller if you bid double what something is worth.

As if that wasn't bad enough, on every occasion this happened, if they'd have clicked on the shop, they'd have found the same item for sale as a 'buy it now' for the normal asking price. One guy bid £260 in an auction for an item that was on sale in the shop for £75 then threatened to leave negative feedback unless they refunded him a big chunk.

Some people are so thick, it's a wonder they remember to breathe.

Yeah buyers are sometimes not the most intelligent!

I currently have my bike on eBay, already been on once so this is the free advert. Rolling Eyes

I have had one guy message me 3 times and text me 4 times to ask me if I want to do a PX for his Rover 420 turbo. Middle Finger

It says in the advert, NO PX FOR A CAR, fuckwit! Polite answer was NO!

And we all know that because its on Ebay, ITS CHEAP!!! Tut Tut

Well not all things in life are for free and as I did point out to one potential buyer(more like a time waster) I am not a charity!

Ebay was 10 times better when it was brand new and only the odd geek here and there knew about it, then everything was legit, above board and cheap...these days its become just like anything else on the Internet, expensive. (expensive compared to the old days)

Just my 2 cents.

I've been looking on Ebay for a camper van. One guy had his reserve met at £6000, but in the Q&As where somebody had offered him that amount the seller replied "For that amount I might as well keep it".

Total fvck-wit, and plenty more like him.

I hate the reserve shit. Why start a bike at 99p when you have a reserve of £2000. Start it a the minimum your are prepared to accept and takr what comes.

ps, wish I'd thought of ebay Crying or Very sad

Get an insurance quote before buying, I made the mistake of not doing so and had a quote of over £1000 this weekend

How did that happen? Most of the people who mention insurance for camper-vans say it's dirt cheap when added to their existing car insurance. Confused

Because more people will bid on it if it has a lower price seeing 2k as a starting figure will put people off. Also if it gets to say £1750 and the guy reallys needs to sell it he can.

I think Arial bought a minibus with loads of seats and took some out but
they still quoted for all the seats being in the minibus.
