Well today was certainly eventful! Laughing

I got up early this morning and legged it down to Hein Gericke to pick up some warm, waterproof textile trousers, as i didn't fancy riding around Portsmouth on my test getting cold and soaked. Got some cool gortex ones and i set off to Portsmouth for my test!

12.40 rolls round and i'm out with my instructor Mark doing some last minute practice U turns and emergency stops. All went well until i attempted an emergency stop (for what felt like the millionth time), but the road was wet, there were leafs every where and i must have had some shit on my tyre, because the front wheel locked and slid out as i grabbed the break! Cue me flying over the bars and doing a face plant in the ground lol Sad

So i'm sat in the road crying my eyes out while Mark gets my bike out the way. Thank god i had those gortex trousers on because my legs wouldn't have escpaed unhurt otherwise. Right shoulder hurts, hip is battered and all my fingers feel like they're broken. Took my gloves off and i've ripped the nail off one finger and there's lots of blood, and all my other fingers and thumbs are already swollen and starting to bruise.

I calmed down after 20 minutes and then we realised my test was due to start in 8 minutes!! So we make sure i can still operate the bike and head off very quickly to the test centre, making it with 1 minute to spare.

I did my test, gritted my teeth all the way around, and passed without a single fault! Immaculate! Perfect!!!!!!

I have never been so determined to pass something in my life. All i could think was 'bugger if they think i'm coming back a second time to go through this again!'

Fook me my hands really hurt now though! Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Hope you heal up soon, congrats on the endorsement.

Here in the US if you lay your bike down and the instructor sees it, you fail. Doesn't matter if you're taking the test or not.
Of course, if you ride a crotch rocket you have a 50% chance of being kicked out of a riding course, depends on how the instructor feels about it...

I think God hates me sometimes, not only did you have the balls to get back on the bike and do your test but the fact that you had the perfect test is unbelieveable.

I had a lesson the night before my test and I was terrible. Went for my test on Wed 7th of Nov and had to set off early because the lass that was doing her direct access before my 125 test had forgotten her license. So over an hour before my test I haul a*se through to Bishop Auckland. Meanwhile they get her partner to bring her license though. So for an hour before my test am standing waiting.

Finally got to do my test and did my hill start, did my checks, pulled away and some c*nt (pardon the French) speeds up the hill behind me. Even the examiner said the guy was speeding. C*ck.

But anyways, kudos again for havin the balls to get back on the bike and do your test. Thumbs Up
