Just (almost) finished building this CBR600. It needs a few things left to do (battery, make sure it runs Laughing gear lever, indicators... other than all the hard stuff is done, and it looks lovellyyy... I'd love to keep it as a road bike or minty stunt bike but need the money so it's going up for sale shortly Sad

This is it when I got it... think its worse than it looks too Laughing

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/projectcbr.jpg

Needed a fair bit of work, been stood in someones garden for 2 years with no plastics on, so took a good clean... the fuel line between tank and injectors had been CUT so he could take the tank off (why not undo it??) the fucking pipe was £90 + VAT at Honda Shocked luckily I got one second hand for £15 though!

I managed to accidentally throw away the left engine casing, so that held me up for a little whilst I got another. It's needed new bars, throttle, upper fairing, screen and loads of other bits.. mostly a bit of time and effort in sorting it all out!

Anyways, fairing, screen and mudguard turned up today, so have been busy.. it's pretty much done... I just need to swap the rear wheel, get a battery, put some petrol in it Laughing oil change and hope it fires up Wink

Looks so nice now that I have begun wanting to keep it! but alas it must go, I need the cash and my next project is going to be a new stunt 600RR for myself. Cool

Are people actually going to know that the bike has been stunted when you put it on the ads? I thought that the 6F-S' were a better proposition for stunting than the RR's hence why you often see urban/freestyle bikers using them stateside?

Woah hold up, this is a stock un-stunted bike.. I've never even ridden it let alone stunted it. I bought this as a crash damaged (cosmetic, HPI clear) to use some parts off for my stunt bike as I was desperate for bits before a competition..... I'm now not so desperate for parts and need the money.. so I've been building it up.

Yes the FS is possibly a better stunt bike than a 600rr.. but they are both hondas so both pretty reliable.. the 600rr is newer, different, no one else stunts one in uk at the minute. just really nice bikes and I want to upgrade to something a bit newer and different...

The lower one's an Fsport, not an RR, and they look pretty 'merican to me.

That's Ash, he is from UK, used to ride with the Vertical Brits... he did used to stunt that blue 600RR yes but he kept blowing it up doing merry go round burnouts (lay bike on its side then burnout it round in circles on the crash cage) and now hes bought that red 600 F Sport same as the one I've just built.

And AFAIK he never used to be any good at wheelies on the 600RR, but since getting the F Sport hes come on leaps and bounds Thumbs Up

The 600RR IMO isn't a learner bike.. cant really beat a F Sport for learning on, but when ya get good its nice to move up to something a bit more special Smile

Both pics were taken end of Aug this year at the Southwest Bike Show in Exeter

I've got loads and loads from the day but those are the only ones I have in PhotoBucket.

You're right about the wheelies, just checked the photos and there's not one of him wheeling the RR Smile I guess its the lack of torque?

I remember thinking it was going to blow up, after did did that merry go around burnout thing, it kept smoking like hell for about 5mins! didnt look to healthy.

He's blown that bike up at least twice that I know of.. pretty sure he doesn't ride it much any more.. not 100% sure though! but ive never seen him wheelie it thats for sure!

and theres nothing wrong with 600rr for wheelies... its all down to skill Smile

Definitley nothing wrong with an RR for wheelies, does it happily off the power in first.

Saying that, you probably want to be going a bit slower than power wheelie speed...

They both look amazing! I love the way you have a street fighter headlamp on a fully faired bike, it looks very nice! Very Happy
