Everything was fine except i nicked the curb(lowered on a driveway) on the u turn, and got 1 dangerous falt because the radio wasn't working properly, and heard "speed up" (through the sond of my horn and some static.) but the examiner said "slow up" so he gave me a dangerous use of speed Evil or Very Mad

Now i just have to wait 10 working days, really dissapointed though because i nailed everything else, even the emergency stop in the wet.

ah well a shit week gets worse...

Brier Thumbs Up

Not to worry, bud. I failed my first test. Get it re-booked asap and I'm sure you'll make it next time.

Unlucky mate Sad I failed my test last week because of a car drivers incompetence. The examiner even said there was nothing I could have done, I had to fail because I was in danger, even though it was the drivers fault!

You'll get it next time no problems Thumbs Up Cool

Bad luck there dude. You'll get it next time and it'll be more of an achievement!

Gotta say though, common sense would dictate that the examiner isn't going to give you any instructions other than 'go left, go right, stop' etc... But I appreciate it's a little ambiguous to use language like 'slow up' - poor use of English tbh. Oh and clipping the kerb on the U-turn is an opportunity for you to fail anyway, even if he told you it's a minor. He probably said that to lessen the blow....

My examiner several times told me to 'slow up' albeit in different language as he couldn't keep up with me in the car, I just pulled to the side of the road and pulled off when he asked me to with full observations.
Not my fault someone told me it's an automatic pass if you can lose the examiner on the twisties Wink

To be fair, 'Slow up' is a stupid thing to say. In 99% of the UK, it's slow down and speed up.

Anyway, don't worry, you'll pass next time and then the world is your oyster.

I passed 2nd time and 4th time (don't ask), so we all get there eventually.

Cheers

Grim

If you take the test in Aylesbury you get taken over a humpback bridge that only one car/bike/whatever can use at a time so before you go up you beep your horn to warn others that you are going over. So he did as he was instructed too. Razz
