Lola Rennt - das is gut ja!?

Might be worth finding torrent on it tonight. Last time i watched that film was for GCSE german and had the whole class in tears - so random, good soundtrack and just pure jokes. And you thought the germans didn't have sense of humour? Wink

It's a while since I watched it but I remember thinking it was pretty good. I've got the soundtrack and unsurprisingly it's great to have on for jogging/cycling, the only downside is it persuades you to run twice as fast as you actually should.

It's a brilliant film. Will stick that on my Amazon rentals wishlist I think. Thumbs Up

Haven't seen the film but I seem to remember there was a poster for it in Gaz's flat in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

...just adding to the trivia that is the internet.

I did like it, but i find it takes a while to get going - a bit too long establishing the setup. However, from that point where she's thinking of who to go to for help, it's really good.

I just think it's a very interesting, thought-provoking film. Makes you realise that none of us are really in control of our own fate.

I seem to remember not liking that film much

Has anyone seen the German film about a girl who wrecks her boyfriend's Ducati Monster? I'm sure the film was called "Die Monster" or something, but I can't find it. Unless it was French...

A true classic. Probably one of the oldest DVDs in my collection. Not my favorite by a long shot but, the concept was novel once upon a time.
