Heh, I stay up all night like two nights a week, as I did last night. I have a sort of wierd sleep pattern, where I know if I get to sleep past say 3ish I'll sleep right through till midday and then not be able to drag meself out of bed for another few hours. Got a maths deadline today so thought I'd play it safe.

I have a lot of trouble getting to sleep. It usually takes a couple of South Park episodes at least. I try to get 8 hours a night but it's usually more like 6. When I don't have to get up and I have decent curtains I can easily beat 12 hours.

Generally oversleep as it takes me farking hours to get to sleep, varies between about 5-16 hours in the week, on weekends i sometimes go without sleeping and go on the razz and have work before the chance to sleep and end up whacked out for a day Laughing

I'm quite good in that I get about 6-8 hours every night. I'm sure i'm better for it. Plus it's meant to be bad for you if you have too much sleep.

Your energy patterns are similar to a sine curve. If you get little sleep you'll feel like shit but as the day progresses you begin to wake up more. At night time your probably doing something you enjoy and find yourself fighting through the tiredness to continue whatever it is your doing.....then you feel alert again.

The key, for me personally, is 6 hours kip and to go to bed once I feel sleepy. If I hold out then I can stay up till the morning no problem.

I have a 10 month year old daughter, does that qualify as 'some reason'?

When I was younger I would sleep in till after 12 on the weekend. If I'm still in bed at 9 am I consider that to be a lie in now.

Saying that,k I really should go to bed....

My current sleeping pattern is 2AM till 8AM, all week, then 2AM till 10 on weekends, which i guess is kind of enough.

I went to sleep early yesterday, like asleep by 11PM, woke up at 5AM, couldnt get to sleep for about 30 mins, then felt like shit all day.

Im really tired now but im doing a support call for work, fucking bastarding TV. And I have to get up early tomorrow Crying or Very sad

Looks like ill be sleeping 12 hours on sunday then Very Happy

I have no sleeping pattern at all at the moment, if I'm lucky I fall asleep before 3am. I need to be up at different times every day which doesn't help. Not working at all means that me sleeping pattern is well out of whack, such as now where I'm up at 3am..

So yeh if I'm lucky I have more than 4 hours sleep in a night.

bloody retarded sleep pattern Evil or Very Mad

got this thing at the momet where every few days I wont be able to get to sleep till gone 3, then I know if I go to sleep I'll sleep past midday so I have to stay up all night, then I usually end up asleep late afternoon.

Though I've stayed awake for like three and a half days at a time, so my sleep pattern is hardly 'normal'

It all depends, I used to stay up all night when I was at college (mainly due to needing course work in the following day), then go to college and only once did I doze of in the middle of a lecture.

Now days though anything past 1am tends to get me wanting to roll into bed and snooze.

Its very rare that i'll do an all nighter now, but if I do its pro plus for the win... 3 of those and its an instant eye opener.
