hi i have a honda nsr 125 f which is the jc20 italian model,
i have spent a long time building the bike from the frame up and now i am having trouble with it
so in neutral the engine will rev free and will go all the wat to 11,000rpm but when put in gear and pulling away the bike has no real power and it really struggles,
the bike splutters and misfires from 5k to 7k till the power valve opens and it will go a bit better but still has no power.
my fuel mixture is good , compression is good ,good spark ,valve is opening on time and is working fine.
has anyone had the same problem or might have some ideas what the problem is pleas let me know thanks, james.

- this engine will be effective when it's warm enough . in fact when the temperature needle get out of the first zone
- stocked valves & cables can create spluttering by delaying the valves moves (oil cables)
- too much carbone in the barrel & head can effect seriously the engine rate . to check that , i suggest you take your exhaust off and inspect the exhaust port , same for the pipe
- check color of your sparkplug to see if your mixture is good
