Ok. I know its been out ages, but i rented it last night and was a bit dissapointed with it. All the funny bits are in the trailer ( the fence jumping etc.. )
Good action scenes, but all in all not impressed.

I have no idea how this got in the top #250 at IMDB with a 8.1 rating, i thought it was awful.
Was a fan of Shaun Of The Dead so i was expecting to like this.

So was 'the ringer' actually.

I didnt know it was endorsed by the special olympics and therefore INCREDIBLY pc.
They're not even that disabled, bah.

first time i saw it. I was disappointed however having seen it a couple of times more its grown on me only a little.

Not as disappointing as 28 weeks later.

But still poor.

I watched Magicians last night with the lads from Peep show.
That was dissapointing TBH.
Only good bit was the girl from Spaced was in it (forget the name) and she is a hottie

I watched a spoiler fest on Hot Fuzz the night before watching it in the cinema. It showed every single joke and a fair bit of the storyline. As a result I was disapointed. I did find that Shaun grew on me, though, so it might get better on repeated viewing.

Tell you what annoyed me last night, pirates of the caribbean 3.

Talk about your half assed ending.

Hear me out right, MASSIVE armada versus about 10 ish pirate ships.

Black pearl and davy jones go into the maelstrom and pretty much everything is demolished, cannons, crew etc.

So they just had this amazingly violent fight, cannons all probably soggy without much crew to operate them.

Then the two of them face the ship with about 40 guns on each side, thats got a fuckload of fresh men battle ready sat in it with loaded cannons and this giant armada behind them... And since in a normal fight they can only bring one sides cannons to bear on a ship anyway... the fact theres one either side wouldnt bother the gun deck too much if it had as many on it as i assume it did.

And what, cos the captain didnt shout fire not one bloke went 'fuck it, im stood next to a loaded cannon with a lit torch and im being shot at... why not'

Asides from that though twas an ace film Was expecting keith richards to try and lord it up, but he was barely in it and i didnt even notice him til i watched the extras. And monkeys with fireworks
