yes the only difference in all the years that the gs has been produced. they tightened cam shaft end float clearance to reduce noise on cold start ups, added a oil cooler to the faired models, and played about with the springs in the forks, and changed the body work in the later ones,
they are all essentially the same other wise ____________________ the humans are dead

hey thanks hmmmnz , any idea as to how much the head weighs
less than 20 pounds? or more?.
so it will fit , now just to find out how much i will be ripped off for shipping and then ,who i can rob for the money?
hehe
so am i right in assuming that almost everything will fit then as long as it is a gs 500 part / 500e/500f
thanks again

yeah the head would be well under 10kg i would say it would be about 6kg mabee a little less,
who the hell still uses lbs geeze get with the times
you can use all parts from any model gs500 from 89 onwards,
there was a gs500 4 cylinder that came out as well, but they are few and far between, i personally have only ever seen 1 and that was in new zealand
good luck ____________________ the humans are dead

so the reason i am looking at buying on ebay=
dealer special price on head R3500.00 normally R8000.00.
Ebay shipping us$ 30.75 + bid * 7 (max bid $10) = R280.00
( am not sure about import duties)
Anyone see anything wrong with this picture?
They really know how to rip us off here , the last thing i priced was the one cam chain guide second hand they wanted 250 and new 275. then i would still have to get the tensionerand other guides , grr makes me mad
but thanks guys for the help ____________________ Halo123. =Techie/geek and bike rider ,
