This may seem like a stupid topic but does anyone else feel that their riding is too fast?? Ok, im only on an rvf400, but i cant help going flat out everywhere. Later thinking how i really need to slow my riding down before i kill myself. I try to slow my riding down and have done so, but i have a feeling thats because of the winter weather.

How fast do you cruise in say, a 30mph limit on a wide road with no parked cars for example?

tend to do late end of 30's in 30's :/ never go faster than 40 in 40's and ditto for pretty much all other limits

In 30's I normally go 50, I don't know why I just settle at that speed.

30 in 30's, 45 in 40s, 70 in 60's and whatever speed on motorways.

Basically follow the cager's speed with correct seperation distance. Pretty much seems to work in not pissing people off, but not being over the speed limit by enough to matter.

Stick to the speed limit in residential areas (would feel bad if I hit a child, although not so fussed about old people... [joking... About the old people...])

Flat out every where else, only on a 125 though so flat out isn't really going to blow anyones skirt up.

I do worry about moving up to a bigger bike, on my 125 I can pin it from the get go and not worry about flipping it or coming off, I do that pretty much with out thinking. (You kinda have to on my bike...)

On a bigger bike this might be an issue, wouldn't want to be sitting on autopilot at some traffic lights and go full on and land on the car behind... Shocked

Stick to the limits, it amazing how much fun you can have Very Happy

All them boxes backed up behind you. Then you reach a Q and sail past it.

30's & 40's are the ticket zones best to stay alert and point free....

Might go with the flow of traffic if its not to far above the limit.
